Mission
Dear family-
In July of 2001 we packed up and moved from our long time home in the Pacific Northwest to Cary, North Carolina. For reasons too boring to explain, our mailing address is Morrisville, but trust me, we live in Cary. We love it here and do not miss the traffic and gray skies of Seattle one bit. We do, however, miss our family very much.
We hope that this WEB site will, in a small way, help us stay connected. This WEB site is for all of us, and it is especially for Cameron, Ryan, and Kelly. We miss you all terribly. Send me additions, changes, and corrections, pictures to upload, information to post, and anything else you would like to share. Please let me know how I can build this site for all of us.
Love Dad
(Mom, James, and Jenny love you all too!)

This WEB site has grown a lot since I first launched it late last year. There are numerous photo galleries, new security features, a family tree, and even pictures from our Wedding album. I am happy to add any pictures and other past remembrances you have, but for the most part I feel this site has satisfied it's purpose in referencing where we all came from. What I look forward to now is keeping the WEB site up to date as a living archive of where we are in our lives. Please send current pictures and memorabilia so that we can all share in each other's life adventure. -Love Dad

Well last year had some big events. The WEB site's first screen now includes Mrs. Stephanie Clise, the newest member of our family. The picture galleries are growing and include Ryan and Stephanie's wedding as well as our Christmas Family reunion in Cancun. I hope that family members will find this site useful as a default home-page for their browser. I have tried to include useful everyday links on the first screen for WEB surfing launch points. Let me know if you have ideas for improving the site. -Love Dad

OK, so when personal WEB sites were shiny and new, keeping them current was fun and exciting. As they became bigger and more common the novelty faded and maintaining them took on the excitement weeding the garden. It has been five years since I updated this section of the site. I wonder if anyone actually visits this page anyway! In any event, much has changed and continues to change. We are wrapping up our southern living adventure and moving back to the Northwest. We have a new son in-law and another daughter in-law. We have two grandchildren and two more on the way (one any day now). My mother passed away last summer and I was able to retire. Boredom may drive me back to work, but financial need should not. We are camping out in an apartment as we sold our home just in time to beat the market crash and purchased a home in Edmonds. We visit it occasionally but will make our final move as soon as James graduates from high school this June. I am very excited about finally being able to afford flying again and will be taking possession of a new Robinson R44 helicopter in three weeks! Woo hoo! I've been bad about keeping the WEB site current and at some point I am just going to abdicate keeping the extended family current altogether and ask you to provide links to your own WEB pages or face books or whatever.
Life has been a little overwhelming for the last year and things don't show many signs of easing up, so we are all holding on and trying to enjoy the ride. Still, everything important is really, really good for your Mom and me. I hope you all feel the same. Love Dad
